SAS - Stratified Air Scavenging

Conventional 2-Stroke Engine

Diagram of Conventional 2-Stroke process

20% higher fuel loss and greater emissions are produced by conventional 2-stroke technology.

SAS 2-Stroke Engine

Diagram of SAS 2-Stroke process

Air flow through the transfer port into the cylinder pushes the burned gases into and through the exhaust outlet.

This process recovers 75% of the unburned fuel normally lost by conventional 2-stroke exhaust - and utilizes that fuel for power - for greater efficiency and cleaner exhaust

Greater Efficiency + Cleaner Operation = Advantageous Performance

Global carbon footprint reduced due to lower emissions

Reduction of hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrogen oxydes (Nox) to meet global standards.
